BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – National Weather Service of Melbourne announced on Thursday that Warning Coordination Meteorologist Scott Spratt has retired after 31 years of federal service.

Scott has been a part of National Weather Service of Melbourne since 1993.

He has served as their Warning Coordination Meteorologist since 2008.

“He will be greatly missed. Safe travels, Scott,” said National Weather Service of Melbourne in a statement.
