Port canaveral employees share their holiday spirit with toys for tots

WATCH: Port Canaveral employees donated 32 bikes, plus helmets, locks, and other toys to Toys for Tots North Brevard, to brighten the holidays for Brevard County kids, delivering the holiday cheer with a “Santa-sleigh” decorated Port truck.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Port Canaveral employees donated 32 bikes, plus helmets, locks, and other toys to Toys for Tots North Brevard, to brighten the holidays for Brevard County kids, delivering the holiday cheer with a “Santa-sleigh” decorated Port truck.

Port Canaveral has been busy collecting and building bikes since the summer in this port-wide effort among staff.

Although Port Canaveral employees donated bikes for kids of all ages, bikes for teens and young adults who depend on them as their primary mode of transportation are always in short supply, it is their hope to bring some cheer to Brevard County families in need.
