BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – For a quarter of a century, Command Control Technologies Corporation has assured the success of mission-critical process control systems in projects ranging from space launch operations to border patrol and security.

“As a small business with a powerful product suite, we can be responsive to our client’s unique mission objectives at lower cost with less risk,” said Peter Simons, president and CEO.

With a well-earned reputation for designing, developing, and operating mission-critical control systems on time and within budget, CCT is a multi‐disciplinary engineering firm specializing in automated, mission-critical command, control, and monitoring systems and products for the space, defense, and intelligence communities.

Offering complete automation solutions, Command Control Technologies Corporation delivers products, engineering expertise, support, and training for the entire systems lifecycle.

Command Control Technologies Corporation products provide an operations-ready framework that avoids the cost of reinvention, promotes enterprise integration and decision making, and reduces risk associated with complex command and control systems development.

Simons launched Command Control Technologies in 1997 with business partner Rodney Davis, current vice president of technical operations, to spin-off space operations automation technology developed for NASA. Just three years later, CCT was recognized as one of the top five technology companies on the Space Coast by Florida Trend magazine.

Just three years later, CCT was recognized as one of the top five technology companies on the Space Coast by Florida Trend magazine.

From its inception, Command Control Technologies Corporation’s team of engineers have been committed to the creation of technologies that offer customers long-term value by being smarter, faster, and more reliable and supportive.

For customers that require solutions for control systems in telemetry processing, test range automation, space launch operations, border surveillance or commercial process control, Command Control Technologies Corporation offers cost-effective answers.

CCT has made significant contributions to the success of customers at locations ranging from Kodiak Island in Alaska to Virginia.

“Customers across the United States and internationally can attest to the fact that CCT reliably delivers systems that meet or exceed their expectations,” said Simons.

History of Mission Success

Alaska Aerospace Corporation depends on Command Control Technologies Corporation for its new Range Control System to support both government and commercial launch operations out of the Pacific Coast Spaceport Alaska in Kodiak Island. RCS integrates telemetry, surveillance, weather, video, and related systems.

Based on CCT’s commercial RangeNet™ and Command and Control Toolkit™, the Wallops’ Range Data Acquisition and Computation system, or RADAC, processes flight-tracking data for the Wallops Range Control Center and mobile tracking units at NASA Wallops Island Flight Facility in Virginia.

RADAC data enables range safety operators to monitor and track mission performance, identify recovery locations, make real-time fight termination decision and other mission-critical operations for suborbital rockets, missiles, remotely pilot vehicles, aircraft, balloons and orbital missions.

Buffalo, New York-based CUBRC, Inc., selected CCT for the development of a critical control system for the new Hypersonic Wave-Heated Facility, which will be used to test materials under extreme heat and high Mach number conditions for new hypersonic programs.

Northrop Grumman selected CCT’s Command and Control Toolkit™ and the TZero™ products to form the nucleus of the Antares Launch Control System for launch sequencing and process automation in Antares’ support of International Space Station resupply missions. CCT engineers provide launch day support for the Launch Control System during every mission.

Virginia Commercial Spaceflight Authority chose Command Control Technologies Corporation to design and develop its Universal Ground Fluid Control System based on the CCT C2 Product Line, supporting fully integrated and automated orbital Pad-0A fueling, hydraulics, environment control, and GSE control at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection depended on Command Control Technologies Corporation for the development of the NorthGuard pathfinder project to monitor maritime traffic along the border between the United States and Canada on Lake Erie.

The system, which features, automated ship identification, can classify, prioritize, and track thousands of maritime targets simultaneously.

For a quarter of a century, Command Control Technologies Corporation has assured the success of mission-critical process control systems in projects ranging from space launch operations to border patrol and security.

Proven Products and Solutions

At the heart of Command Control Technologies Corporation’s product line is the Command and Control Toolkit, or CCTK™, an open framework for creating command control systems.

CCTK consists of configurable building blocks that can be integrated together to perform specific interacting C2 functions, such as: acquiring and processing sensor data, using real-time analytics to prioritize and track targets or controlling a rocket countdown and launch.

Command Control Technologies Corporation’s Security and Surveillance Toolkit, or SSTK™, extends the company’s command control software framework for security and surveillance applications, with plug-in component options for cameras, tracking sensors, real-time threat analytics, sensor fusion, and specialized common operating picture.

RangeNet™ extends CCT’s open command and control software for range control applications, with plug-in component options for range sensor communications, vehicle telemetry and tracking, mission common operating picture, mission time control, and ground system and vehicle sequencing.

The Control Room for Antares Space Station Resupply missions from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, Wallops Island Virginia, includes console displays featuring Command Control Technologies Corporation software.

Command Control Technologies Corporation’s T-Zero™ is a real-time software application for process automation and synchronization of distributed mission systems and operations personnel to achieve time/event coordinated mission objectives.

TelSim™ is an integrated software and hardware platform for performing real-time Hardware-in-Loop simulations. Using the TelSim simulation software environment you can emulate sensors, actuators, integrated systems, and communications that interface with the system under test.

User-created models control and respond to the emulated sensors, actuators, and communications in real-time or simulated time, providing dynamic event-response behavior interaction with the test article.

The C2TM Gateway™ bridges command and control IP networks with diverse mission systems communications for missile systems, aircraft, drones, spacecraft and ground systems.

The product line is always evolving and never static.

“Our product line is constantly evolving to include new functionality to support our clients’ growing requirements,” said Davis.

“We routinely upgrade our products to incorporate new functionality so our software remains current with the latest technology.”

CCT designed and delivered software to the Alaska Aerospace Corporation at the Pacific Spaceport Complex – Alaska (PSCA) on Kodiak Island, which provides responsive, flexible, and low-cost access to space for small- and light-lift vertical rockets and stratospheric balloons. PSCA has been launching rockets since 1998 and was the first FAA-licensed spaceport not co-located on a federal range.

While Command Control Technologies Corporation provides Commercial off-the-shelf tools used to build custom control systems, CCT expertise is available to help design, select, configure, and integrate software, hardware, and communication infrastructure for client applications spanning the entire systems lifecycle.

What sets CCT’s product and service offerings apart is their experience in leveraging information systems and automation to achieve mission operations results. Their mission-critical proven products reduce new systems development/deployment time, cost and risks.

Their tools are uniquely engineered to enable further operational efficiencies through automation, and the product line architecture is designed with open and flexible services that can scale to meet the most complex Command and Control applications and evolve as clients’ needs change over time.

“We’ve done some exciting work over the last 25 years and we’re looking forward to new projects in the near future, we’re a small business that has done some big things,” said Simons.
