BOYS PREP BASKETBALL UPDATE

Seven Brevard County basketball teams will begin their quest for a state championship tonight in the first round of the FHSAA playoffs. Among the teams in action are the Rockledge Raiders, who will host Northwestern in the first round of the Class 5A State Basketball tournament.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Seven Brevard County basketball teams will begin their quest for a state championship tonight in the first round of the FHSAA playoffs.

The 21-3 Rockledge Raiders will take on the 16-3 Northwestern Bulls at Rockledge Highschool at 7 p.m.

The 9-13 Cocoa Tigers will take on the 22-3 Lake Highland Prep Highlanders at Lake Highland Prep at 7 p.m.

The 20-6 Melbourne Bulldogs will face off against the 16-10 Wekiva Mustangs at Melbourne High School at 7 p.m.

The 16-11 Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will go head-to-head against the 15-7 Jupiter Christian Eagles at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 7 p.m.

The 16-10 Palm Bay Pirates will take on the 20-7 Villages Charter Buffaloes at The Villages Charter at 7 p.m.

The 24-2 Satellite Scorpions will face off against the 17-9 Mckeel Academy Wildcats at Satellite High School at 7 p.m.

The 17-11 Eau Gallie Commodores will take on the 22-3 Stranahan Mighty Dragons at Stranahan High School at 7 p.m.
