City of Melbourne Parks and Recreation Now Accepting Summer Camp Financial Aid Applications

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The City of Melbourne Parks and Recreation Department has begun accepting financial aid applications for this year’s summer camp programs.
Summer camp will run from May 31-August 5. Youth Camp is for children 6 years old (age as of September 1, 2022) – 11 years old (age as of camp registration) held at Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center, and Wickham Park Community Center.
Teen Camp for teens 12-15 years old (age as of June 1, 2022) is being held at Crane Community Center 1551 Mosswood Dr. in Melbourne.
To apply, residents can download financial aid applications from our website, or they may pick up the needed forms at each community center if they do not have access to a computer.
Once completed, they may submit their paperwork via e-mail at PlayMelbourne@mlbfl.org. They may also mail it to one of the city’s community centers:

■ Eau Gallie Civic Center: 1551 Highland Ave. Melbourne, FL 32901
■ Wickham Park Community Center: 2815 Leisure Way Melbourne, FL 32935
■ Summer Camp online registration (household ID required) will be available for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. (formerly Lipscomb), Wickham Park, and Crane Teen Summer Camps on Sunday, April 3, starting at 5 p.m.
Summer camp in-person registration is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 4 at 8 a.m. at Wickham Park Community Center and at 9 a.m. at Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center (formerly Lipscomb) and Eau Gallie Civic Center for Teen Camp.
Registration will continue Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. (formerly Lipscomb) and Crane Teen camp (registration at Eau Gallie Civic Center) and during normal business hours at Wickham Park Community Center until all spaces are filled.
Summer camps are currently scheduled from May 31-August 5. Dates and summer camp policies are subject to change.
