Titusville YMCA Family Center to Host 30th Anniversary Healthy Kids Day on April 30

Healthy Kids Day is a free community event
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Department invites everyone to the YMCA’s 30th Anniversary Healthy Kids Day event on Saturday, April 30.
The Titusville YMCA Family Center is located at 2400 Harrison Street and this free event is set to begin from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Healthy Kids Day is a free event open to the community that’s designed to inspire kids’ creativity, awaken their imaginations, and encourage them to stay active.
Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve health and well-being for kids and families.
Their goal is to get kids moving and learning, creating healthy habits they can continue all throughout the year, but especially during the summer.
Research shows that without access to out-of-school activities in the summer months, kids can fall behind academically and may also gain weight twice as fast.
Following a year filled with numerous changes and uncertainty, Healthy Kids Day is a reminder to families that we can help ensure all children have access to the key ingredients to reach their full potential, even during out-of-school time.
