Melbourne Police Obtain Arrest Warrants for Multiple Suspects Involved in Off the Traxx Bar Fatal Shooting

Melbourne Police Department Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for multiple suspects involved in the shooting that occurred on March 6, at Off the Traxx. BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police Department Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for multiple suspects involved in the shooting that occurred on March 6, at Off the Traxx.

According to Melbourne Police Department Lt. Ryan Schorer, on May 10, Lucious Scott, 30, and Richard L. Lakes, 34, were apprehended with assistance from Brevard County Sheriff’s Office’s Game Over Task Force.

Scott and Lakes were both charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Police still have one suspect wanted, Elvin Clark, 34,  remains at-large. Clark is charged with the murder of 34-year-old Alain Noel.

Clark is facing 2nd degree murder, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, and culpable negligence.

On Sunday, March 6, at 1:10 a.m., Melbourne Police Officers responded to Off the Traxx in regards to a shooting, which occurred inside the business.

According to Lt. Schorer upon their arrival, two victims were located. A male was unconscious and medical aid was immediately administered.

“He was transported to HRMC where he was declared deceased by hospital staff. A female employee received a non-life-threatening injury and was also taken to HRMC and she is expected to recover,” said Lt. Schorer.

At the time of the shootings, Off the Traxx was reported to be near capacity at approximately 350 patrons.
