The Cocoa City Council approved the Summer for the Kids Grant Program, which will award up to $70,000 to help fund programs and services for school-age children living in the Cocoa community. The grant will utilize Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to fund the summer programs with a priority focus on organizations based in Cocoa that serve economically-disadvantaged school-age children living in Cocoa. BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Cocoa City Council approved the Summer for the Kids Grant Program, which will award up to $70,000 to help fund programs and services for school-age children living in the Cocoa community.

The grant will utilize Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to fund the summer programs with a priority focus on organizations based in Cocoa that serve economically-disadvantaged school-age children living in Cocoa.

The maximum grant award per organization is $10,000. Application forms for eligible summer programs and activities will be made available for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and schools during regular business hours at the City of Cocoa City Hall lobby located at 65 Stone Street, Cocoa, Florida 32922 or electronically on the City of Cocoa website at https://www.cocoafl.org.
