Two Women Shot Dead, One Man Wounded Friday Morning in Titusville, Suspect Remains At-Large

Titusville police officers responded to a fatal shooting near the intersection of Tropic Street and Brown Avenue early Friday morning at about 5 a.m. that left two woman dead and a man seriously wounded.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville police officers responded to a fatal shooting near the intersection of Tropic Street and Brown Avenue early Friday morning at about 5 a.m. that left two woman dead.

According to the Titusville police, a man was also wounded and transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

“Officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired near the intersection of Tropic Street and Brown Avenue,” said Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews.

“Officers arrived at the wooded area on the northwest corner of Tropic Street, and located two adult females and an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds. Two female victims were deceased at the scene, one male victim was critically injured.”

Matthews said the suspects are still at large, and based on preliminary evidence, detectives believe this incident was not random and the suspect is known to the victims.

“The location appears to be a transient/homeless camp,” said Matthews.
