Beracha sees Covid as a way to move forward, even though it may have ruined many dreams.
Beracha is a veteran of the tech industry having worked for years to promote an Israeli-based company. He reached out to business partners during the pandemic and established with them a new venture capital fund called Eden Block. It is based in London’s West End. This fund supports the latest technology iteration, which uses Blockchain technology and digital currencies as part of its operations. Eden Block is a great friend for companies looking to create new markets and products using this rapidly-evolving tech.
Beracha founded this venture with two other, young and able entrepreneurs. Rami admits that the Web 3.0 world has been identified by customers and entrepreneurs before he did. However, he formed Eden Block with two savvy partners and believes they will soon catch up to him and discover the promising disruptions in high tech pursuits such as VR, robotics and AI.
How Beracha has achieved business development during and after the Covid Era
Beracha believes passion, self-confidence and timing are the keys to his recent success. Beracha advises entrepreneurs to focus on the ventures and goals they believe in, rather than trying to force through an idea that may not work. This allows investors and developers to respond to market trends or change their direction more easily than if they are relying on data. This is a welcome departure from Silicon Valley’s information-heavy decision-makers.
Beracha developed this passion through a variety of experiences. After serving in the military for a while, Beracha earned a law degree. This credential was used to work at a Wall Street-based law firm before he decided to change his career entirely to the business world. He soon moved to France where he obtained an MBA.
At this point, Beracha started working for Pitango in Israel, the largest venture capital fund. His hard work and talent were quickly recognized by the upper management, who promoted him to managing partner. He led over 200 Israeli tech startups. Many of these companies went on to become major brands such as Marvel, Microsoft, Broadcom and Apple.
Beracha followed his own advice again in 2014 and founded Sosa. This firm connects New York to Tel Aviv and supports high-tech companies with financial investors.
Rise from the Ashes
Beracha’s life has not been all glamour and high tech. When he joined IDF in the Lebanon War as a paratrooper, he was just 18 years old. He was 18 years old when he joined the IDF as a paratrooper during the Lebanon War. In 1983, he became an officer and joined a rescue team that helped wounded soldiers to navigate an active landmine field. Beracha’s life was forever changed at this moment. He fell on a live mine while trying to help another soldier and instantly lost his right hand.
Beracha fell into depression after spending the next few days in a military hospital without anything to distract him. Beracha lost all hope of a military career and was left with a questionable identity. Facing the daunting prospect of not knowing what to do next, something clicked inside and the courage to start a new life emerged.
Beracha’s business and personal growth was fueled by his sudden determination to never give up. He began to pursue other sports after his rehabilitation. Kilimanjaro. He was not going to be defined by his amputee status for the rest of his adult life.
As a result, Beracha developed a passion for kitesurfing and began traveling to Panama to enjoy the waves and relax. Beracha even managed to attach a prosthetic to his surfing equipment, so that he could stand up and enjoy the water like a pro.
Beracha recalls that at first, she was angry about the injury. “But, over time my anger subsided and was replaced by acceptance. It was my knowledge that, despite being disabled, no matter what I do, it would be difficult for me to choose a career. However, it would be more challenging and interesting. The moment you stand up on the board for the first time, no matter how new to kitesurfing, is an amazing moment. It’s even more memorable if you don’t have a leg or a hand.
