Titusville Police Investigating Fatal Traffic Crash, Vehicle Struck Tree at South Park Ave. and Harrison St.

A Titusville man was killed in a traffic crash when his vehicle struck a tree at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8 near the intersection of South Park Avenue and Harrison Street.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – A Titusville man was killed in a traffic crash when his vehicle struck a tree at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8 near the intersection of South Park Avenue and Harrison Street.

According to Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews, the preliminary investigation revealed the adult male victim, driving a silver 2016 Toyota Camry, westbound on Harrison Street, veered off the roadway and struck a large tree just east of the intersection.

No other vehicles were involved.

“The victim and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 5:20 p.m.,” said Matthews.

This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Titusville Police Department and further details will be released upon its conclusion.
