Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Recognized With Child Protection Award for Fight Against Child Predators

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – This wee, the United States Attorney for the Middle District of the State of Florida recognized our agency, along with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, as well as our Agents for their outstanding work in taking child predators off our streets!!
I was honored to accept the agency recognition award on behalf of our Agents who were also individually recognized in a private ceremony as many of them work in an undercover capacity in their job to identify, investigate, and eradicate these monsters from our communities!!
During the presentation, United States Attorney, Roger Handberg discussed the fact that our agency over the course of the past 10 years has brought to justice over 100 child predators who prey upon our most precious of citizens, our children!!
I could not be more proud of our Agents, both current and retired who were recognized as part of yesterday’s press conference! The work they do each and every day to save and protect children is truly amazing!!
Please join me in congratulating them for their hard work and dedication and also in thanking US Attorney Roger Handberg for recognizing the exceptional work of these Agents!!
We are blessed to have him as our US Attorney here in central Florida and to have such an incredible partnership with him and his team!!
