ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando City SC selected midfielder Shakur Mohammed (Duke University / Generation adidas) as the No. 2 pick in the first round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft on Wednesday.

A native of Kumasi, Ghana, Mohammed wrapped up his Duke University career this fall with 13 goals and nine assists for 35 points in 37 games with the Blue Devils.
