Palm Bay Police: Two Teens Found Shot to Death in ‘The Compound’ On Christmas Evening

Two teens were found shot to death in Palm Bay on Christmas night. Police say someone called 911 after finding one of the bodies in the woods, and when officers got out there, they found a second body.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA (WESH.COM) – Two teenage males, ages 14 and 16, were found shot to death in Palm Bay on Christmas night at The Compound.

Police say someone called 911 after finding one of the bodies in the woods, and when officers got out there, they found a second body.

The area where the teens were found, The Compound, is a nearly 3000-acre open expanse in southwest Palm Bay.

Police said they are still searching for suspects and investigating why the victims were in the area.

“I’m not aware of any vehicles that we present, and we still don’t know why these teens were out here, especially on Christmas night at that time of night,” Lt. Michael Roberts of the Palm Bay Police Department said.

“Certainly disturbing,” said a dirt bike rider, who did not want to be identified.
