BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic announced the beginning of a new program, Vote in Honor of a Veteran, which will honor the sacrifices made by members of the United States Armed Forces to protect Americans’ right to vote.

“The objective of the program is to encourage voter participation among young voters by sharing stories and words of encouragement from men and women who have served in the Armed Forces,” said Bobanic.

” Veterans are encouraged to participate whether they have served our country in peacetime or wartime, past or present.”

Submissions can be submitted by residents of Brevard County online, via email, at any of the four Election Administrative Offices, or by mail.

Pictures of Veterans can be scanned and emailed or brought to one of the offices. We ask that original photos are not submitted as we cannot guarantee their return.

Each month a new Veteran will be featured on the Vote in Honor of a Veteran wall in the lobby of each office, as well as in the televised lobby presentation.

To participate in the program, any Veteran or their family can complete a Veteran Biography form, which can be found on VoteBrevard.gov or at any of the four Election Administrative Offices.

All Veterans’ stories will be shared on VoteBrevard.gov.
