BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman was inducted into the FCSAA Men’s Basketball Hall of Fame on Thursday evening.

Shulman was inducted into the hall of fame during halftime of a Region VIII Quarterfinal at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.

Shulman was joined by his wife and two kids, for the celebration on the center court of Raiders Arena as the team, former assistant coaches and friends cheered.

The Nashville, Tennessee native becomes the eighth member of the men’s basketball program inducted into the Hall of Fame and first since Tom Wasdin in 2002.

“I am just so humbled by all of this, Athletic Director Jeff Carr and our President Dr. James Richey gave me a chance 13 years ago and I am so grateful to them for giving me the chance. I could not have imagined 13 years ago that I would be here tonight,” Shulman said after the ceremony.

Shulman is in his 13th season leading the Titans and has recorded 319 wins and been to the national championship tournament five times, finishing second in 2016-17 and third in 2017-18.

His team will play in the Region VIII Tournament semifinals on Friday against No. 3 seed Tallahassee Community College at 7 p.m. EDT.

“I definitely feel better about today after we beat Daytona State College, I am just so proud of our guys, I thought we executed the game plan, played extremely hard and it was a fantastic game. I am excited for another opportunity tomorrow,” Shulman said.

It marks the 13th straight season that Shulman’s teams have won at least 18 games and the coach has never had a losing season with the Titans.
