FHP: Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Adamson Road and Coconut Avenue in Cocoa

crash involved a single V1 -2003 Suzuki motorcycle

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were on the scene Wednesday afternoon investigating a fatal crash that was reported at approximately 3:47 p.m. on Adamson Road and Coconut Avenue in Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were on the scene Wednesday afternoon investigating a fatal crash that was reported at approximately 3:47 p.m. on Adamson Road and Coconut Avenue in Cocoa.

According to Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Lt. Tara Crescenzi, the fatal crash involved a single V1 -2003 Suzuki motorcycle. The identity of the victim has not been released and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

“Preliminary evidence shows the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Adamson Road approaching Coconut Avenue,” said Lt. Crescenzi.

” The rider failed to negotiate a curve causing the motorcycle to run off the roadway. As a result, the motorcycle struck a guardrail, pole, and then entered the wood line. Due to the impact, The rider was thrown off and entered a canal.

This crash remains under investigation.
