Jordin T. Chandler is a native of Brevard County, Florida. Jordin is a Governmental Relations Consultant with Space Coast Strategy, a government relations and political consulting firm located in Rockledge, Florida.

More significantly, Jordin was happily wedded to his amazing wife, Bianca, on December 4, 2021, and they are expecting their first bundle of joy in August 2023.

On January 14, 2016, Jordin received a Presidential Scholarship from former Florida Tech President Dr. Anthony J. Catanese after giving a speech full of hope and optimism. Jordin received his Bachelor of Arts in Humanities/Pre-Law in 2019. Also, Jordin was fortunate enough to study abroad in France, Italy, and Greece.

Jordin is a member of several civic and social organizations. First and foremost, he is a proud member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (Melbourne, FL). He is a Master Mason and a Cocoa Lodge #55 — P.H.A member. Currently, Jordin serves as the Vice President and Fundraising Chairman of the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge Foundation, Inc.

Since his appointment to this position in August 2020, he has guided the Foundation in raising over $75,000, which has been used to provide over twenty-five college-bound students with scholarships.

Additional Boards that he serves on include Vice-Chair of the Brevard County Community Action Board, Vice President of Neighbor Up Brevard Board of Directors, Greater Heights Affordable Apartments Committee, Land of Hope Community Land Trusts, FIT Gold Alumni Leadership Council, Veteran Cemetery Restorations, Inc., Chairman of the Board of Directors for Diversity of Thought Nonprofit, Inc., Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce, the 2021-2022 Brevard County Charter Review Commission, and the 2022 City of Palm Bay Charter Review Commission. Jordin is also a graduate of LEAD Brevard’s Leadership Essentials Class of 2021.

To date, two of Jordin’s most significant accomplishments are helping a team of trial lawyers secure a contract with one of Central Florida’s largest municipalities to represent them in the nationwide opioid litigation against Big Pharma and secondly, leading a Countywide ballot initiative to tackle Brevard’s affordable housing crisis by creating a Workforce and Supportive Housing Trust Fund within our County’s Home Rule Charter (constitution), which passed with over 53% of voter support on November 8, 2022.

Jordin loves pouring into those young and old because he believes that human decency is the smallest act of kindness. Currently, Jordin mentors the juvenile males incarcerated at the Brevard County Jail as a part of their R.E.A.C.H. Program, which he helped establish with B.C.S.O. employees. Since this program started in 2019, over seventy percent of the young men participating in it have furthered their education and have received their G.E.D.s.

Jordin has received numerous awards and recognition for his community involvement, including receiving Florida Tech’s 2018 Greek Volunteer of the Year Award, the 2018 Young Citizen Award at the Space Coast Public Service Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony, and he was recently a proud recipient of LEAD Brevard’s 2023 4 Under 40 Award. With this steadfast mentality, he clings to the motto of “service before self.”
