CareerSource Brevard to Host ‘Back to Work 50+’ Job, Resource Fair in Palm Bay on May 24

CareerSource Brevard will host its BACK TO WORK 50+ Job and Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 24, at the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Boulevard in Palm Bay from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – CareerSource Brevard will host its BACK TO WORK 50+ Job and Resource Fair on Wednesday, May 24, at the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Boulevard in Palm Bay, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is free to attend and is designed to connect job seekers over age 50 with employment opportunities.

Employers from multiple industries will share information about their open jobs while local community-based organizations will showcase career resources and services available.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enhance their LinkedIn social media profile and elevate their professional brand by receiving a professional headshot, compliments of CareerSource Brevard.

For 10 years now, AARP Foundation has collaborated with CareerSource Brevard through the Foundation’s BACK TO WORK 50+ program, which provides older workers with professional career support.

The BACK TO WORK 50+ program is offered at CareerSource Brevard’s Titusville, Rockledge, and Palm Bay career centers and is designed to help this talent build the skills and confidence needed to compete for high-quality jobs in today’s ever-changing job market.

“For many older adults living with low income, the ever-changing job market can be a challenge to keep up with”, said Emily Allen, Senior Vice President, AARP Foundation Programs.

“AARP Foundation is proud to work with organizations that are helping older adults build skills and confidence so they can bounce back from unexpected job changes. BACK TO WORK 50+ is designed to enable more people over 50 to navigate today’s job market.”
