Police Find Dead Man With ‘Apparent’ Gunshot Wounds After Initial Report of Hit-and-Run in Titusville

Titusville Police are conducting a homicide investigation in connection to the early morning death of an unidentified man. According to TPD officials, at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, police responded to an initial report of a hit-and-run near the intersection of Airport Road and Dixie Avenue. “Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the deceased adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds,” said a Titusville police spokesperson.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police are conducting a homicide investigation in connection to the early morning death of an unidentified man.

According to TPD officials, at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 27, police responded to an initial report of a hit-and-run near the intersection of Airport Road and Dixie Avenue.

“Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the deceased adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds,” said a Titusville police spokesperson.

Reports suggest that based on the preliminary evidence, detectives believe this is an isolated incident. However, the suspects are still at large.
