Eastern Florida State College Accepting Applications for EMT, Paramedic Programs Through October 15

The Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College is actively recruiting for its upcoming Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic programs. The deadline for applications is October 15, 2023. Intake is scheduled for October 24 by invitation. Classes will begin on January 8, 2024, and run for 16 weeks through the spring. (EFSC image)

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College is recruiting for its upcoming Emergency Medical Technician program.

The deadline for applications is October 15, 2023. Intake is scheduled for October 24 by invitation. Classes will begin on January 8, 2024, and run for 16 weeks through the spring.

All prospective students must complete the online application for admission to Eastern Florida State College and the separate online application to the Public Safety Institute.

The program is designed to train individuals for entry-level positions in emergency medical and first responder services. Graduates can also gain certification that will allow them to continue their education into fire service or paramedics.
