Eastern Florida State Volleyball Team Prepares for FCSAA State Tournament Action in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball team will open the FCSAA Division I Volleyball Championships on Friday morning at Suncoast Credit Union in Fort Myers.

The Titans are the No. 5 seed in the state tournament and come in 14-7 overall and 7-7 in the conference.

They will open against No. 4 seed Polk State College who are 8-6 in the conference and 12-9 overall. Both teams are ranked in the national poll.

Friday’s match will begin at 10 a.m. at Florida Southwestern. Polk State College has won both meetings this season, the last meeting was on Sept. 30 and went five sets with the Titans falling 15-12 in the fifth.

The winner of the match will move on to play No. 1 Florida Southwestern at 4 p.m. in a semifinal match.

The winner will advance to the final with the loser playing in the third place game on Saturday.

Tournament tickets can be purchased for $10 per day or $25 for a weekend pass at the Arena on game day. Parking at the main arena lot will be $3 and can scan the QR code on the signs on the parking lot light poles.
