Rep. Randy Fine’s State Senatorial Campaign Raises More Than $400,000 During Fourth Quarter and Presession Period

Brevard State Representative Randy Fine (R-Melbourne Beach) announced on Tuesday that he has exceeded $1.5 million cash on hand between his State Senate Campaign and his Friends of Randy Fine Political Committee. In quarter, between the two entities, Fine raised more than $293,000, and in the week before the session opened, another $122,000. He currently has $1,526,000 on hand, according to a Fine campaign spokesperson.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard State Representative Randy Fine (R-Melbourne Beach) announced on Tuesday that he has exceeded $1.5 million cash on hand between his State Senate Campaign and his Friends of Randy Fine Political Committee.

Fine is running for Brevard’s Senate District 19, as current Sen. Debbie Mayfield faces term limits. He currently represents House District 33, which includes Malabar, West Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Melbourne and Palm Bay.

In the fourth quarter, between the two entities, Fine raised more than $293,000, and in the week before the session opened, another $122,000. He currently has $1,526,000 on hand, according to a Fine campaign spokesperson.

“As Session hits full swing, I am humbled by the overwhelming financial support my Senate campaign has received,” said Fine. “With record support not only coming from Brevard but from all corners of the state, it is clear that everyone agrees that #ItsGoingToBeFine.”

Fine’s financial support is matched by endorsements from Brevard’s conservative School Board Majority, Chairwoman Megan Wright and Members Matt Susin and Gene Trent, Brevard Representative Thad Altman, Brevard/Volusia Representative Chase Tramont, and Volusia Representative Webster Barnaby, Port Canaveral Commissioner Wayne Justice and former Commissioner Tom Weinberg, as well as Former Republican Party of Florida Chairman and Senator Joe Gruters, and former Senate President from Brevard Mike Haridopolos.

The International Union of Police Associations and Florida Family Action have also given early endorsements. More will be coming out shortly, according to a campaign spokesperson.

Fine currently serves as the Chairman of the House Health & Human Services Committee, overseeing all aspects of health care and welfare reform in Florida.

Previously, he served as Chairman of the House PreK-12 Appropriations Subcommittee, where he sponsored the largest School Choice expansion in American history, and as Chairman of the House Higher Education Appropriations Subcommittee, where he redesigned the process of capital funding for state universities. He also served as the Chairman of the House Select Committee on Gaming.

In his time in the legislature, Fine has passed over two dozen pieces of legislation, including ending the practice of mutilating and castrating children on the altar of fake gender science.
