Eastern Florida State College Tennis Player Hugo Car Named ITA Regional Sophomore of the Year

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s tennis player Hugo Car was named the ITA Region IV Regional Sophomore of the Year.
Car is 13-0 this season at No. 1 singles and 9-3 with teammates at No. 1 doubles this season for the Titans. The native of France has been ranked No. 1 in the national ITA singles rankings.
Car is committed to the University of South Florida next season.
Head coach Bobby Cashman was named the Region IV Wilson ITA Coach of the Year. Cashman has led the Titans to another successful season as they are ranked No. 3 in the latest ITA NJCAA Division I National Rankings.
The national award winners will be announced next Sunday, May 12th.
