BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA โ Former Cocoa Tiger, Colorado wide receiver Willie Gaines signed with Murray State out of the NCAA transfer portal.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound slot receiver played 25 offensive snaps over five games during his only season at Colorado, catching two balls for 12 yards. He did not participate in special teams.
The Space Coast native has spent time at Toledo, Dodge City Community College, and Jackson State before his stint in Colorado.
His best collegiate season came as a fourth-year sophomore in 2022, when he hauled 27 passes for 446 yards and five scores at Jackson State.
