(BLEACHER REPORT.COM) – NFL legend Tom Brady has donated $100,000 to aid the relief efforts after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida on Wednesday night. 

Brady announced his donation will help provide essentials, including food, water, and first aid, to residents in the state.

Hurricane Milton was declared a Category 5 hurricane on Monday in the Gulf of Mexico.

When it made landfall on Wednesday near Siesta Key, Florida, it was dropped down to a Category 3 hurricane and weakened to a Category 1 as it went through the state and moved offshore, per the National Hurricane Center
