Eau Gallie Commodores Advance to First FHSAA State Semifinals with 26-24 Win Over Bishop Moore

The No. 1 Eau Gallie Commodores aadvanced to the FHSAA State Semifinals after defeating the No. 2 Bishop Moore Hornets 26-24 in the Class 3A Regional Finals on Black Friday.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The No. 1 Eau Gallie Commodores aadvanced to the FHSAA State Semifinals after defeating the No. 2 Bishop Moore Hornets 26-24 in the Class 3A Regional Finals on Black Friday.

The FHSAA State Semifinals are set for December 6, kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

Led by Head Coach Chris Sands, Eau Gallie has put together an 12-1 overall record led by Sophomore quarterback Joseph Allen.

In his first season with the Commodores, he has 2,074 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and averaging 114 quarterback rating.

You combine that along with some of the top talent in the country including LSU 4-star commit Brandon Brown, FAU commit OLB Josh Robers, and 4-star ATH Xavier Lherisse and the rest of the crew; you understand why the Commodores are here.

Along the way, Eau Gallie has defeated; Bishop Moore, Titusville and Crystal River.
