Palm Bay Community Rallies to Help Local Family Obtain Wheelchair-Accessible Van

Let’s unite as a community to make a difference

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA —The Palm Bay community is uniting to support the Cook family in their mission to secure a wheelchair-accessible van for their son Quamaree, a local child with a disability.
This much-needed vehicle will enable Quamaree to travel safely and comfortably while remaining in his customized wheelchair, which is vital for his health and mobility. Transportation has become increasingly challenging for the Cook family.
With a large family and a wheelchair that is too heavy to lift, they are often forced to take two vehicles for routine trips such as getting to and from school. A wheelchair-accessible van would improve the family’s daily life and offer Quamaree greater safety and comfort.
Amber Cook, Quamaree’s mom, is actively pursuing grants to help offset the conversion costs, and she will share updates along the way. “This van would be life-changing for Quamaree and our entire family. It’s not just about convenience. It’s about ensuring his safety and giving him access to experiences that many take for granted,” said Amber.
Now, the Cook family is asking their neighbors and the greater Palm Bay community to rally behind them. Sharing the fundraising registry and spreading the word are crucial to achieving this goal, especially since studies show that 32% of donors are most inspired to give through social media.
Through a SupportNow fundraising registry, the Cook family is contacting the Palm Bay community for help. Here’s how you can make an impact:
● Donate: Contribute to the fundraising registry to help the family purchase the van.
● Share: Amplify their story by sharing the registry link with friends, family, and social media networks.
● Follow: Stay informed about updates on Quamaree’s journey and the family’s progress toward their goal, including grant applications for van conversion costs.
Let’s unite as a community to make a difference in Quamaree’s life. Every donation, share, and act of kindness moves them one step closer to making this dream a reality.
