Vero Beach Air Show Awarded U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ 2024 Civilian Show of the Year

Blue Angels scheduled to return to Vero Beach for the 2026 Air Show
BREVARD COUNTY • VERO BEACH, FLORIDA — The Vero Beach Air Show soared to new heights, earning the distinguished title of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ 2024 Civilian Show of the Year.
This accolade recognized the incredible support and dedication of the local community, volunteers, and sponsors who made the event a premier aviation experience.

“We were beyond thrilled to receive this honor,” said Rob Lucas, President, of the Vero Beach Air Show. “It reflected the hard work and passion of everyone involved, from our devoted volunteers to the businesses and organizations that supported us year after year.”
The 2024 Vero Beach Air Show was an unforgettable event for aviation enthusiasts and families alike.
Taking place from May 3–5, 2024, at the Vero Beach Regional Airport, the air show lineup included:
● U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team – Spectators witnessed the incredible capabilities of the “Warthog” as it showcased precision and power.
● Civilian Acrobatic Performers – Attendees were amazed by daring aerobatic stunts and breathtaking routines from some of the best pilots in the world.
● U.S. Navy Blue Angels – The world-famous Blue Angels closed out the show on May 4-5 with their awe-inspiring demonstration of teamwork, skill, and speed.
The Vero Beach Air Show, organized by Vero Beach Air Show, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, directed its proceeds to several local charities.
Beneficiaries include the Veterans Council of Indian River County, the Exchange Club of Indian River, the Exchange Club of Vero Beach, and H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue.
Each charity was presented with a $15,000 donation on September 12th, 2024 at a celebration at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are scheduled to return to Vero Beach for the 2026 Air Show, planned for May 15–17, 2026. Don’t miss another chance to see these legendary aviators in action.
