Florida Gators Announce 2025 Home Football Game Schedules, Themes at ‘The Swamp’

GANIESVILLE, FLORIDA — The University of Florida Gators have unveiled their highly anticipated home football schedule and special event themes for the 2025 season at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, affectionately known as ‘The Swamp.’
This season, packed with tradition, recognition, and community engagement, promises excitement both on and off the field.
The action kicks off on August 30, when the Gators host Long Island for 352 Community Day, a celebration of the local community and its connection to the Gator program.
On September 6, the Gators will face South Florida during Championship Reunion Weekend, which honors past Florida football champions and their contributions to the program’s storied history.
October 4 marks a marquee matchup against Texas, coinciding with Gatorade’s 60th Anniversary and UF Family Weekend, sponsored by UF Health. The game promises a mix of Gator pride and family festivities.
The October slate continues on October 18 when Mississippi State visits Gainesville for UF Athletic Hall of Fame recognition and GatorMade Week, presented by Renewal by Andersen. The event will spotlight excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
As the season nears its close, the Gators will take on Tennessee on November 22. The game will be themed Saluting Those Who Serve, a tribute to military members and veterans. VyStar Credit Union proudly presents this game.
Finally, the season wraps up on November 29 with the always-intense rivalry against Florida State. Designated as Senior Day and presented by Publix, the finale will honor graduating players for their dedication and contributions to the team.
