BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is once again spreading holiday cheer as it prepares for the annual Shop With A Cop program. This long-standing tradition brings joy to children and support to families in need during the Christmas season.

The event will take place on December 13 at Walmart in Viera, located at 8500 North Wickham Road, Melbourne.

Shop With A Cop pairs local children with deputies from the Sheriff’s Office for a special evening of Christmas shopping. Each child is given the opportunity to select gifts for themselves, creating meaningful moments of connection while ensuring they experience the excitement and warmth of the holiday season.

Families from across Brevard County submit applications through the agency’s Community Services Unit, and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Charity works throughout the year to raise the funds needed to make the event possible.

Thanks to community generosity and dedicated fundraising, the program helps guarantee that each participating child has presents waiting for them on Christmas morning.
