West Melbourne Police to Host Chick-Fil-A With A Cop Event Benefiting Special Olympics

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The West Melbourne Police Department is inviting the community to connect with local officers during an upcoming Chick-Fil-A with a Cop event scheduled for February 24 from 1-4 p.m. at Chick-Fil-A located at 835 Palm Bay Road.

The event offers residents an opportunity to enjoy a meal while engaging in friendly conversation with members of the department.

The gathering is designed to strengthen relationships between officers and the community in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

In addition to meeting officers, attendees will have the opportunity to support Special Olympics Florida. The department will be selling Law Enforcement Torch Run shirts during the event, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics athletes across the state.

Torch Run cotton and dri fit shirts will be available for purchase at $25 each. Proceeds from shirt sales will go directly to support Special Olympics Florida programs and athletes.

Department officials encourage residents to stop by, share a meal and help make a positive impact in the lives of Florida’s Special Olympics participants.
