BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team will host Indian River State College in a key Citrus Conference Wednesday night at Titan Field House.
It will be Sophomore Night as four players will play their final game at home. Tyson Wilson, Joviel Acevedo-Arroyo, Misael Cruz Rodriguez and Eby Ogoh will all be recognized after the game which tips off at 7 p.m.

The Titans come into the contest winning nine in a row and have beaten The River in each of the first two meetings. The first time was the season opener for both teams on Halloween with the Titans picking up the 97-80. Then in January the Titans won 97-88.
Eastern Florida State College is 10-3 in the conference with three games left in the regular season. They are sitting in third place just a half game behind Daytona State College.
Indian River State College comes into the contest playing well, winning four of the last five games and are tied for fourth in the conference standings with Santa Fe College at 7-6.
“They are a very good team and playing very well, the one loss coming to Daytona where they led with two minutes to go. They are playing with a lot of confidence and they are fighting for a conference berth so they have a lot to play for,” Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Zach Ferrell said.
Acevedo-Arroyo, a redshirt sophomore, has had two good games against Indian River State College and is averaging 20 points against the River. For the season the guard is averaging 12.7 points per game.
Sean Register Jr. comes into the game leading the state in scoring, averaging 25.1 points per game which is third in the state. He had 23 and 28 points in the two meetings against The River and is the FCSAA Division I Player of the Week.
Wednesday’s game will begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free at Titan Field House. Fans can also watch the game live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page. The sophomore class will be honored after the game.
