BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College sophomore pitcher Parker Trowbridge has been named the FCSAA Division I Pitcher of the Week following a dominant performance on the mound over St. Petersburg College on Saturday at Bruce Bochy Field

Trowbridge delivered his best outing of the season, tossing a complete game while allowing just one hit in the victory over St. Petersburg College.

After surrendering a leadoff single, the left-hander settled in and retired the next 17 consecutive batters.

The only run he allowed came after the opening hit, as Nick Upperman advanced on stolen bases and later scored on a groundout.

Aside from that sequence, Trowbridge was in full control, striking out eight batters and allowing only two additional base runners, both of whom reached after being hit by pitches.

The Clermont native wrapped up his sophomore campaign with a 6-4 record and a 4.33 ERA across 13 starts.

Over 60 1/3 innings pitched, Trowbridge recorded 54 strikeouts.

Eastern Florida State College closed out the season strong, riding a six-game win streak to finish 21-28 overall.

The Titans ended conference play tied with Indian River State College at 14-19.
