BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball player Sean Register Jr. is named an NJCAA Division I First Team All-America selection.

The forward from Cleveland, Ohio, became the fifth Titan to be named to the NJCAA Division I First Team All-America team and the 16th men’s basketball player to be an All-America selection.

“It is a blessing for sure,” forward Sean Register Jr. said.

“To be honest, it is just the hard work that my teammates and I put in this year. Every time I was having a hard time in practice or in the training sessions, I would just think – I want to be on the first team and my teammates really helped me every day and night.”

Register Jr. leaves Eastern Florida State College as the leading single-season scorer in the program’s history with 769 points, marking just the second time a men’s basketball player has scored 700 points in a season.

Register Jr. led the FCSAA this season, averaging 24.8 points per game, and was named the Citrus Conference Player of the Year as well as to the all-FCSAA team.

The forward also grabbed 269 rebounds in 31 games, averaging 8.7 per game. He had 12 double-doubles this season.

“It is really all of us, the team and the coaching staff working out with me, but to see those numbers is crazy and is just a blessing,” Register Jr. said.

“I had a list of goals this season, and I literally checked off most of the boxes. I have been blessed to be here and put on the Eastern Florida jersey every day.”

Register Jr. had three games with 30-plus points and was named an FCSAA Division I Player of the Week three times and the national player of the week twice.

He has committed to Liberty University for next season and will play for the Flames, who won the Conference USA title last season.

“Ever since I took my visit there, it felt like home,” Register Jr. said. “I have a list, and they checked every box; they have a winning culture, and it really fits me.”

Register Jr. was one of two state players to make the first team, and five players were named to All-America teams this season. He is the first player since Owen Aquino in 2024 to make the first team.
