Marc James Fisher (78) passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at home in Titusville, Florida, surrounded by his family. Family, friends, and others whose lives Marc touched are invited to attend mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2309 Holder Road, Mims, Florida, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June, 13, 2026.

When asked what gave him the ability to get through 14 years of cancer, he responded with “His family.”

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Marc James Fisher, 78, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, at home in Titusville, Florida, surrounded by his family.

Marc was born on February 9, 1948, in Massillon, Ohio, to Pauline (Heckathorn) Fisher and Frank James Fisher.

He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966. Marc continued his education at the University of Toledo and the General Motors Institute, pursuing a career in Mechanical Engineering.

He rose through the ranks as a manufacturing engineer, later joining Ingersoll Consulting and then Booz Allen Hamilton Consulting.

He traveled the world sharing his expertise throughout the US, Europe, and Mexico.

In 1993, he decided to spend more time with his family, so he left consulting and joined the family business, Tru-Mension Manufacturing, in Titusville, Florida.

Marc married his wife Barbara (Koch) Fisher on May 22, 1981, in Toledo, Ohio, and had three sons.

Although he had many successes in life, Marc considered parenthood his most meaningful achievement.

When asked what gave him the ability to get through 14 years of cancer, he responded with “his family.”

After retiring, his hobbies included his swimming pool, working on his cars, spending time with his Fiero group, visiting childhood friends in Ohio, and going to Bike Week.

However, the biggest highlight of his life was being PopPop to his grandchildren, Evelyn and Miles.

Marc is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara; sons Brian (Allison), Eric (Elizabeth), and Corey (April); his grandchildren, Evelyn and Miles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Marc touched are invited to attend mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2309 Holder Road, Mims, Florida, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June, 13, 2026.

A celebration-of-life reception will be held at the church following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
