OneBlood Big Red Bus to Host Blood Drive During 41st Melbourne Arts Festival at Wickham Park

BREVARD COUNTY, MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The OneBlood Big Red Bus will be on site this Saturday for a community blood drive during the 41st Melbourne Arts Festival, offering attendees the opportunity to give back while enjoying one of Brevard County’s premier events.

The blood drive will take place on April 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wickham Park, conveniently located near the festival entrance.

Organizers encourage both residents and festivalgoers to stop by and donate, helping to support critical blood supply needs across the region.

All donors will receive a $25 eGift card, with options including Walmart or Amazon, along with a Red OneBlood umbrella and a complimentary wellness checkup.

The screening includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol levels—providing valuable health insights in addition to the life-saving donation.

Officials note that while many people are eligible to donate, only a small percentage actually do. Community members are encouraged to take part and help make a difference, as each donation can save multiple lives.

Appointments are strongly encouraged to help streamline the process and reduce wait times. Donors can reserve a time in advance through the OneBlood website.
