BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Timothy Adam Niehoff, 43, of Port St. John, Florida, passed away on April 20, 2026, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on October 3, 1982, in Quincy, Illinois, to Tim and Peggy Niehoff. The family moved to Titusville, Florida, in 1986, where he spent his formative years in Mims.

Adam served his country honorably in the United States Navy for four years as an avionics technician.

During his service, he was stationed in Pensacola and Jacksonville, Florida; Brunswick, Maine; and Misawa, Japan.

Following his honorable discharge, Adam married Dawn and together they built a life in Port St. John, Florida, raising their three children, Amber, Jasper, and Carter. Adam and Dawn celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on February 4, 2026.

A devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Cocoa, Adam was a Third Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus.

He generously gave his time as a Christmas tree sales volunteer, Eucharistic minister, and youth group leader, inspiring many lives through his faith and service.

Adam was deeply rooted in the Port St. John community. He volunteered for more than 15 years with the Port St. John Parade Committee.

On Friday nights, you could often find him manning the grill in support of the Viper Marching Band.

Adam’s lifelong passion for Scouting began in first grade and continued into adulthood, where he served as Cubmaster for Packs 407 and 359 and Scoutmaster for Troop 359.

He proudly mentored four Eagle Scouts, including his son, Jasper.
