Port Canaveral Launches $95 Million Cruise Terminal 10 Expansion and Renovation Project

95 million project, scheduled for completion in November 2027, will accommodate cruise industry’s largest ships

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Construction has begun on another cruise terminal expansion project at Port Canaveral. 

The $95 million expansion and renovation of Cruise Terminal 10 is expected to be completed by November 2027 to accommodate some of the cruise industry’s largest ships, carrying up to 6,700 passengers.

Designed by Miami-based architectural firm Bermello Ajamil, the reimagined facility will feature spacious, modern interiors with a streamlined look and feel, colorful artwork, a striking glass façade that will introduce more natural light, and other design elements that will create a welcoming and inviting environment for cruise guests.

Expanded security screening and luggage areas, new elevators/escalators, updated signage and HVAC systems are also being added, enhancing the overall guest experience.

Constructed by PCL Construction Services, Inc., of Orlando, the redesigned terminal will encompass more than 145,000 total square feet – nearly 30 percent larger than the existing space.

The Cruise Terminal 10 upgrades are part of the Port Canaveral Advantage, a nearly $1 billion capital improvement program that includes facilities upgrades, technology enhancements and other features across all aspects of its operations.

Port Canaveral is home to seven leading cruise brands operating over 1,000 sailings from 18 homeported ships, including some of the newest, largest, and most technically advanced ships in the world, offering a wide range of itineraries, from weekend getaways to week-long adventures and beyond, visiting some of the world’s most spectacular destinations.
