BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Just three weeks after finishing the UFL season with the San Antonio Brahmas, former Rockledge and Florida State standout Jashaun Corbin has signed with the Atlanta Falcons. Corbin led the entire UFL in rushing yards in 2025 with 514 yards.
High School
Jashaun Corbin was a phenom on the field since his youth days and reached the end zone plenty of times during his years at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and most notably Rockledge.
As a Senior, the 2018 graduate totaled over 2,200 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns, leading the Raiders to the Regional Semi-Finals. By signing day Corbin would choose Texas A&M out of nearly 50 and was ranked as the fourteenth best “All-Purpose Back” in America.

Texas A&M
As a Freshman at A&M, Corbin appeared in 12 of 13 games, rushing for 346 yards and a touchdown, and led the team in return yards with 422. His attributions as a Freshman earned him All-SEC Freshman Team recognition.
This accomplishment looked to be just the beginning of a great career in College Station; however, things did not play out that way.
Entering his Sophomore season, Corbin notched his best game as an Aggie right away, rushing for 103 yards against Texas. Unfortunately, his season would end after just two games with a hamstring injury.

Florida State
The page would turn on Texas A&M, and Corbin would transfer home to Florida State University.
In the 2020 COVID season, Corbin played in all nine games and started in eight. He totaled 548 all-purpose yards, rushing for 401 yards and five touchdowns. He had made an impact, having several great moments to look back on, but Corbin was not necessarily on the NFL radar just yet.
The 2021 season would be Corbin’s “breakout” year, starting all 12 games for the Seminoles, and he had over 1,100 all-purpose yards with seven touchdowns.
He had nearly 900 of his yards purely in the run game and was also very effective in the pass game, catching 25 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. In both seasons, he achieved ACC Honor Roll team status, and as a Senior, he earned third-team All-ACC honors.
His play on the field had surely been noticed and the opportunity to play in the NFL was knocking on the door.

New York Giants
Although Corbin would go undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft, the Giants called, and he would sign as an undrafted free agent. Corbin spent the entire 2022 season on the practice squad for the Giants, learning as much as he could along the way.
He joined the Carolina Panthers practice squad in 2023 for a short time before returning to New York and seeing some time on the field for the G-Men.
Appearing in six games, he carried the ball once and had three receptions for 12 yards. It was a small sample size, but he saw field time and gained some much-needed experience.
Before the 2024 season, he was placed on injured reserve and did not see the field at all, but with time off the field, Corbin got healthy and primed for more football.

San Antonio Brahmas
For the 2025 season, Corbin grabbed an opportunity elsewhere, the UFL. The UFL is almost like the “minor league” of the NFL, presenting an excellent opportunity for many players to be seen and signed by NFL teams.
With the UFL season following the NFL season, this gave the players the full attention of NFL GMs, and Corbin capitalized while with the San Antonio Brahmas.
In ten games, Jashaun Corbin totaled 97 carries for 514 yards, which led the entire league. He showcased his talents in the biggest games against the best competition, with 129 all-purpose yards in the season finale against the St. Louis Battlehawks. The San Antonio Brahmas were not the most successful team, but Corbin shined.
Just three weeks after the season concluded, the Atlanta Falcons have signed Jashaun Corbin after they released Jase McClellan. With the experience he has and the proven ability, this is an excellent addition for the Falcons.
Look for Jashaun Corbin to get some carries as he joins the backfield of Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier, and Carlos Washington.
