Space Coast Daily’s Giles Malone spoke with Cocoa Beach Spring Training Director of Scheduling, Coach Loren McClanahan, about what Cocoa Beach Spring Training means to Brevard.

“We are proud to be working again with Scott Rogers and Lexi Betterman from the USSSA Stadium and Sports Complex to provide an enhanced experience for our teams this year,” said Giles Malone, Partner with Space Coast Daily and Brevard Production, which sponsors the annual sports games. ”

The USSSA facilities and management are world-class and truly provide another level of practice and play for our teams.”

All game and practice scheduling is performed by a former, highly experienced college coach who understands the importance of making each team’s schedule as complete as possible so they can get the practice and game schedule they need to meet their goals.

The team’s previous win-loss record and other factors will be used to match opponents. Our baseball director will give each team’s schedule undivided attention and communicate directly with each team on an ongoing basis to maximize each team’s opportunity.
