Eastern Florida State College Baseball Team Hits Road for Doubleheader on Saturday

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will play the State College of Florida Manatee in a doubleheader on the road Saturday.
The Titans lost the first game of the series on Thursday night at Bruce Bochy Field and will play two games beginning at 1 p.m. in Sarasota.
Eastern Florida State College’s Jackson Wargo had four hits and teammate Shane Thomas hit two home runs in Thursday’s loss which dropped the Titans to 8-14 in the conference.
SCF-Manatee had 19 hits on Thursday and is hitting .321 this season and have won two in a row. Dominic Woodward had four hits in the game and is hitting .383 while Josh Castellani had a couple of doubles and a triple and is hitting .314.
The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled to feature a couple of starters in the top 10 in the FCSAA in earned run average.
Parker Trowbridge leads the Titans with a 3.98 ERA in 10 starts while Lochlan Radloff has a 4.23 ERA in nine starts.
