BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – Brevard County will begin two infrastructure improvement projects in Indialantic on Monday, April 27, requiring the closure of a portion of Shore View Drive and North Riverside Drive.

The first project will take place along Shore View Drive and will include the extension of an existing gravity sewer main, as well as the necessary roadway reconstruction, asphalt resurfacing, and site restoration following construction.

The second project will focus on converting existing septic systems to a centralized gravity sewer system along North Riverside Drive, Rose Marie Lane, and Alamanda Court.

The contract for both projects has been awarded to Atlantic Development of Cocoa, Inc. in the amount of $908,559.75.

Both projects are funded by the voter-approved Save Our Indian River Lagoon (SOIRL) program.

These projects are designed to enhance wastewater management and reduce nutrient impacts to the lagoon by expanding access to centralized sewer service.

Construction is expected to take approximately eight months, with a tentative completion date of October 2026. Access to residential driveways will be maintained at all times.

Construction schedules may be adjusted due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Brevard County appreciates the community’s patience as we improve our essential County infrastructure.
