A yet-to-be-identified 25-year-old Titusville woman was killed early Sunday morning at about 2:25 a.m. in a fiery single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 1 and Rocket Road in north Brevard County.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A yet-to-be-identified 25-year-old Titusville woman was killed early Sunday morning at about 2:25 a.m. in a fiery single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 1 and Rocket Road in north Brevard County.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Kim Montes, the victim was driving a sedan on U.S. Highway 1, and for an unknown reason, the lost control and left the roadway.

Lt. Montes said the sedan then struck a fence and caught fire.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene and this crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
