Diamond Jaxx Win Minors Championship

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Little League Minor Diamond Jaxx, managed by Evan Proctor, defeated the Minor Muckdawgs 3-2 in the league championship game on Saturday May 5.
The Diamond Jaxx’s Seth Davis, and Richie Chamberlain of the Muckdawgs, both pitched three shutout innings to start the game. Christian Grant led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a triple and A.J. Hall knocked him home with a triple of his own breaking a 2 – 2 tie.
For the season the Jaxx were 18-2 and won the championship game in 5 1/2 innings with 12 K’s, while banging out three triples.

Glad I found this paper and this article. Seth Davis is my Grandson. One big correction—Seth hit a triple in the bottom of the 3rd inning driving in 2 runs for the Diamond Jaxx and he struck out 11 batters of the 17 that he faced. Is there any way I can obtain a hard copy of this issue containing this article? Thank you very much. Wish I had known about the paper at the start of the season.
