BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Free health screenings, chair massages and exercise tips were offered in abundance at Melbourne International Airport’s daylong Health and Safety Fair last week.

“Many consumers came by for free blood pressure readings.” said Karen Hoffman, Employee Health Nurse for the City of Melbourne.
Exhibitors Pam Kilgore and Tabitha Bryant represented Health First Health Plans.
“We gave away sunscreen samples, and answered insurance questions throughout the day,” said Kilgore.

Safety topics were also covered. Andrew Robichaud of Lowe’s of Melbourne had a display of hurricane supplies and hurricane-resistant roof shingles.
Banard Taylor and Jeffrey Goldstein of the City of Melbourne also manned exhibits, as well as Donna Brewer of Ergonomics Plus.
Those in attendance included Dawn Busl, Debbie Blenis, and Michele Munnich.
The Fair was co-sponsored by Delta Air Lines and the Transportation Security Administration.
