BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – A giant, seven-story tall RE/MAX hot-air balloon was on site at Suntree United Methodist Church this morning and offered dozens of tethered rides to the children and families with the church.
“The church called our office and was having the theme of ‘Sky’ for this year’s Vacation Bible School and thought the RE/MAX Balloon would be a perfect fit and we were happy to sponsor a tethered hot air balloon event for their fellowship,” said Heather Holliday, General Manager of RE/MAX Elite.
Dozens of tethered rides were given to the children, parents and teachers and afterwards they were able to play with the balloon man “mascot” as well as learn the mechanisms that launch and navigate the balloon by Pilot Captain Richard Davenport.
The red, white and blue RE/MAX hot air balloon stands 70-feet tall and represents the worldwide RE/MAX network’s “Above the Crowd!®” philosophy of service.
The balloon is one of more than 120 hot air balloons in the world that carry the distinctive red, white and blue RE/MAX trademark.
Headquartered in Denver, RE/MAX International adopted the hot air balloon as a promotional symbol in 1978.
Since that time, RE/MAX International, regions, offices and sales associates have sponsored or participated in hundreds of balloon events around the world, including the RE/MAX Cup National Gas Balloon Race, the U.S. qualifier for the International Gordon Bennett Cup.
RE/MAX ELITE was founded in 2006 by Justin and Breanne Brown.
In a few short years the office has grown to become the #1 RE/MAX in Brevard County in closed sales volume and transactions by providing superior support services to over 60 experienced full-time real estate professionals.
Their offices are located in Melbourne and Cocoa Beach, Florida. RE/MAX ELITE is proud to be Miracle Office raising more than $66,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
