SCAT Plans Informal Transit Workshops

Meetings To Be Held At Bus Stops
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Area Transit will host a series of informal public workshops to weigh possible bus service changes for the coming year.

These workshops will be conducted in a casual atmosphere and citizens can arrive any time between the designated times.
The times and locations for these public workshops are as follows:
• Tuesday, Jan. 22, 9 to 11 a.m. at Palm Bay West Shopping Center Bus Stop. 190 Malabar Road SW, Palm Bay.
• Tuesday, Jan. 22, 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., Brevard Community College, Palm Bay Campus Bus Stop, 250 Community College Parkway SE, Palm Bay.
• Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2 to 4 p.m., Searstown Mall Transfer Station, 3550 S. Washington. Ave., Titusville.
• Thursday, Jan. 24, 9 to 11 a.m., Merritt Square Mall Bus Stop, 777 E. Merritt Island Causeway, Merritt Island.
• Thursday, Jan. 24, 2 to4 p.m., Shepard Park Transfer Station, 179 Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Beach.
• Friday, Jan. 25, 9 to 11 a.m., Space Coast Area Transit Cocoa Terminal, 401 S. Varr Ave., Cocoa.
Space Coast Area Transit’s fixed route service operates 23 buses on 16 routes Monday through Friday, 14 routes on Saturday and 3 routes operating on Sunday. All transit buses are wheelchair-lift equipped.
