BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Prep softball players throughout Brevard County are appreciating warmer weather as district races come down the home stretch.
On Tuesday, the Cocoa Beach Minutemen traveled to Palm Bay High school in Melbourne to take on the Palm Bay Pirates.
In a non-conference matchup, Cocoa Beach came away with a win, defeating Palm Bay by a score of 14-0.
The Minutemen had 10 hits in the game, while holding the Pirates to a total of just four hits.
