Krause was born and raised in Brevard County and completed her education at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne and the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa. She has been a photographer for 22 years, with 13 of them professionally. She owns a family portrait studio in Melbourne and has many published works relating to food photography. Her photos have appeared in local newspapers, national print magazines and online publications. Krause is married and the mother of four creative, brilliant and busy children. She's an active member of the local community, working with the Children's Hunger Project, the Junior League of South Brevard and is a Girl Scout leader at her daughter's school.
